About The Financial Care Network

The Financial Care Network (FCN) is a nonprofit Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC) founded in July 2024 to provide free legal and advocacy services to low-income individuals and families facing IRS tax issues. We believe access to fair, effective tax help is a human right, not a luxury.

Dignity
Clarity
Justice

Our work is rooted in three values:

  • Everyone deserves respect, regardless of income or background.
  • We simplify complex tax problems with plain language and smart solutions.
  • We fight to ensure taxpayers' rights are honored and protected.

We are currently awaiting approval of our 501(c)(3) nonprofit designation, and we already operate in accordance with all IRS guidelines for independent Low-Income Taxpayer Clinics.

Our clients never pay out of pocket for our core services.

We’re here to serve:

  • People who are afraid to open an IRS letter
  • Workers who were misclassified or had taxes withheld incorrectly
  • Families missing refunds or tax credits they depend on
  • Survivors who inherited tax problems from a partner or spouse
  • Anyone struggling to understand or resolve their tax obligations

At FCN, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to face the IRS without help.
